To born in a Buddhist family, mother has taught me a lot of Buddhism’s philosophies since I was a little child. When I have difficulties on my relationship of friends and family, those philosophies are usually good solutions to help me solve my problems.
First of all, Mom says I have to be responsible for what I do. Therefore, mother hopes me to think twice before I making a decision. Consequently, no matter I success or fail, I have to take what I deserved in the future. Mom always uses some Buddhism’s fables to admonish me to pay attention on one thing. For example, I can not do my homework but think what TV program will be played in mind at the same time. Hence, I have tried hard to be concentrate on one thing and doing it as well as possible, though it is really difficult to fulfill.
Secondly, Mom tells me to be friendly to my relatives and friends. When they need help, I can not be indifferent but to give them my hand immediately; when I have a quarrel with my friends or family, I can not just think their disadvantages but try to find their advantages. Furthermore, I have to stand my enemies who mock at me and use a harmony way to solve the gap between us. After all, saying sorry first is the best way to disintegrate animosity quickly and easily. I know it is almost impossible for me to enforce what the Buddha says, but it will help me to decline many disasters. At last, Buddhism puts an emphasis on cherishing every creature in the world, even an ant. I know that everyone have no right to deprive other’s life, including those animals. Each life has its value in the earth, so I hope myself can be a completely vegetarian in the future.
