I have promised my friend that I will go to Taipei to visit her. Therefore, I take some special food for my best friend this weekend. She takes me to the most famous night market in Taipei, eating a lot of delicious food and buying clothes. I am very excited and found that the night market is really different from the night market in Taichung. Then, my friend brings me to a market where we can buy a lot of cheap clothes. I have never seen so many clothes are put in the plastic bags. While entering in the store, it seems that we are walking into the traditional market. We have to squat down on the floor to select for the clothes, and bargain with the vendor. It will be a very special experience for me. Moreover, my friend and I always take the subway to our destinations. Since I went to Taichung, I always ride motor to everywhere and seldom take the bus. Hence, I feel that it is really convenient to take the MRT. I will not spend a lot of time to wait for it. Although Kaohsiung has just finished that MRT, I still do not understand how to recognize the signal. By taking the MRT with my friend in these days, I finally know how to take the MRT and I found that it can not only save my precious time but also protect the environment. As a consequence, I should use well the MRT when I go back to Kaohsiung. All in all, I have good impression on Taipei though I do not go to those famous scenic spot. And Taipei has many delicious desserts that attract me to go there as frequent as possible.

I think there are many people help me going through the difficulties since I was a child. When I was a little girl, my parents always assist me not only on study but also on my life. Gradually I grew up and did not want they worry about me, I choose not to tell them my problem but try to solve it myself. However, I found that I didn’t have enough ability to handle those things and then I became gloomy and depressed. Hence, I appreciate my friends who help me a lot when I was in high school or even college. When I was lonely, my best friends will accompany me; when I was frustrated, my best friends will encourage me; when I have problem on study, they will try their best to help me. When I could not adapt to the new environment and cry everyday since I entered college, my boyfriend told jokes to me every night which lead me forget any vexation. When I was homesick which let me toss and turn at night, my roommate will console me and let me know that I am not alone. By the way, my lovely pets always keep with me when I was in high school. The cute rabbit would sit besides my desk and waiting for me. When I was tired, it will lick me and let me forget the weariness. Sometimes I would tell it my innermost feeling. Although it never answered me, I just want to find someone who can listen to me. Hence, if I have any achievement in the future, I will owe to those people who had ever helped me.

When I turn on TV and watch the news this morning, I suddenly see a horrible title—Korean plans to lift the ban which killing dogs may become legitimate in the future. I am frightened and heartbroken. I can not understand why so many people can kill those lovely dogs; especially they are called human’s best friends. Then, I read the newspaper in my leisure time; I see some cruel pictures are printed on the newspaper. The first picture is the truck which has many cages, and each cage is filled with dogs. Those vendors fear dogs will bark too loudly, so they let dogs stand in a tiny space. And the space is too small that they can not sit, or even open their mouth. The second and third pictures are the butchers dragging a reluctant dog. Maybe the dog knows its destiny; it struggles to get rid of the rope which is covered on its neck. However, it failed and finally is hanged. These shocking news that many people protest and they are trying to write thousands of e-mails to the president of Korea, to persuade him not to allow the bill adopting. By watching these unbelievable facts, I started to know that some people are aloof and cold-blooded, but the other people are earnest and they have the sense of justice. Nevertheless, most Koreans do not consider eating dog is brutal and illegal due to the variety cultures. Hence, the final solution is to request the developed countries—forcing Korea forbids the law by suppressing the trade with Korea. I really hope that one day those dogs can live far from brutality and horrify. No one will harm them but treat them will just like dogs are the members of family.
